Being in education until I was 24 stunted my adult life. All I knew was studying, reading, watching tv and selling mobile phones. As you could imagine, my business sense was also left for dead in the rotting cavern that was my career due to my avoidance and procrastination of the real world.
However, at 24 years, 4 months and 13 days old, I joined an office-based company to work 3 days a week (as I was still studying). Since that day, I have learned more about people, business, communication, ethics, manners and most of all; myself than I ever had before I joined this international company.
After 9 months and 7 days of working there, I have decided to outline my findings in this social analytical collection (mainly inspired by the pompous, arrogant, ignorant, poor excuse for an academic who too works in said company and recently had a poor excuse for a book published).
I believe that if you observe your own working environments you will spot the stereotypes I will be depicting but please bare in mind that these are stereotypes deduced from my own experience and will be based on factual events.
I believe that a satirical overview of society makes living life a lot easier and that anger and frustration at work colleagues is healthier than animosity towards loved ones…though, I do work with my mother.
